Tropicbird is available for Private Charter for Hen and Stag parties, Birthday celebrations, Corporate Events, Birthdays, Private Parties and Romantic Cruises (what a special way to 'pop the question' or celebrate a special day!)

BYO available for private events from as little as $50 a head (Minimum numbers apply)

Catering is also available if required - please see our Menus page for possible options.

A 25% deposit for private charters will be required with full payment 48 hours before the event.

Whale Watching - July to October

Humpback whales visit the Cook Islands from July to October. Join us to to see them as they breach and dive off the reef whilst we are on our cruises. In accordance with our environmental ethos, we undertake to keep to the Avarua Whale Outreach Code of Practice.

STOP PRESS!!! Humpback Whales have been spotted off Avarua throughout July to October 2011 and have been breeching and tail slapping!

Vaka Eiva Festival - Mid November - dates TBA

Each year over one hundred teams from many Pacific Islands compete in the Vaka Eiva canoeing festival. The racing includes a round Rarotonga race to compete for the highly prized Pacific Cup. Join us onboard to spectate the offshore races.
